11 partners in Europe and Central Asia

THE “HARMONEE” Project

The Consortium, composed by 11 partners in Europe and Central Asia, launches the Harmonee project (Harmonization And mutual Recognition of Master programmes in OccupatioNal and Environmental hEalth / HARMONEE) with the firm belief that the outcome of the actions will be very beneficial, especially for professors, students and alumni of Universities in Central Asia.

The HARMONEE project wants to continue the actions put in practice during the CANERIEH project (2013-2016) and the TUTORIAL project (2017-2020) that were able to improve educational methods in Central Asia and to create an international network of teachers, scientists and administrative staff members.

Official Kick Off

THE “HARMONEE” project officially kicked off!

HARMONEE project (Harmonization And mutual Recognition of Master programmes in OccupatioNal and Environmental hEalth) officially kicked off on the 11th and 12th of February, with the participation of all the partners to the virtual meeting. The 11 partners, coming from 6 Countries (Italy, The Netherlands, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) defined the guidelines of the transnational project that has been recently approved by the European Commission in the framework of Erasmus+. Prof. Claudio Colosio, coordinator of the consortium, from the University of Milan, introduced the priorities of the next three years and reminded all the partners that the alliance was born already some years ago and has, for the HARMONEE project, even more ambitious goals.

New partners have been included in the Consortium: Utrecht University (The Netherlands), Samarkand State Medical Institute and Bukhara State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan) are ready with their teachers and scientists to fully support the action.

Main organizational aspects of the project have been discussed, including the future Summer School, hoping that the pandemic gives the possibility to have them in presence.
